Bologna

Standard

Italy is still charming as I visited in 2009. In this second visit to Italy, I targeted on Bologna and Modena. Located outside of river basin in Northern Italy, Bologna lies between the Po River and the Apennine Mountains. Specifically, it is between the Reno River and the Savena River. Bologna is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, and an Italian college city. This old city has spectacular art, history, cuisine, music and culture. It is the seventh largest city in population in Italy with 1,000,000 inhabitants, make it official to call it metropolitan. The urban sprawl of this city, now includes nearby Modena, whose metropolises are adjoining, is continuously expanding.
Bologna is famous for its towers and long porticoes. This city has a well-preserved historical centre, which is one of the largest in Italy.
